Hallo Zwischenfrage,

Mein Vorschlag ist;

Was möchten Sie von jetzt an tun?

'Moving forward‘ ist Wirtschaftsjargon.

Regards,

fredbär

Hey all,

While I do agree with fredbär's suggested translation, I don't necessarily agree that moving forward is Wirtschaftsjargon. "What would you like to do moving forward?" can be used in just about any context, in my opinion.

Anyway, another couple of suggestions for a translation are:

Wie machen Sie jetzt weiter?

and

Was ist Ihr nächstes Ziel / Ihr nächster Schritt?

Hi,

According to today’s Guardian;

“The expression 'going forward' used to be just something that awful management-speak people said, but it seems to have made its way into everyday language.”

Quite a funny video on it too;

Hi@all,

Yes, it definitely does sound as if it originated in the management sector ;)
Language lives, and expressions originate everywhere - including from Google!
