The noble family stemming from the Münsterland held the court office - the highest administration post – in Vechta and selected the castle Dinklage as their residence.
Dinklage was the ancestral home of the earls von Galen well into the 20th-century.
Then they moved into the house Assen near Münster and gifted the castle and parts of the forest to the order of Benedictine sisters.

PROJECT BACKGROUND The Indigenous Peoples’ Rights Act (IPRA) was introduced in 1997 and granted fundamental rights such as ancestral do¬mains, cultural integrity, self-governance and empowerment as well as social justice and human rights to the indigenous peo¬ples (IP) in the Philippines.
However, in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) marginalized ethnic groups have not been able to fully enjoy and exercise these fundamental rights as the IPRA has for the longest time been considered invalid in the ARMM.

PROJEKTHINTERGRUND Der Indigenous Peoples’ Rights Act (IPRA) trat im Jahre 1997 in Kraft und spricht den indigenen Völkern auf den Philippinen (IPs) grundlegende Rechte zu, wie z.B. angestammte Gebietsansprüche, kulturelle Integrität, Selbstbestimmung und Empowerment sowie soziale Gerechtigkeit und Menschenrechte.
Allerdings kommen ethnische Randgruppen in der Autonomen Region Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) oft nicht in den Genuss dieser grundlegenden Rechte und können diese nicht ausüben, da das IPRA in der ARMM für lange Zeit für ungültig erklärt wurde.
