Hi Gast,

Personally, I would say ‘learnt’, but ‘learned’ is OK too.

From the Oxford English Dictionary definition of the verb 'learn'; “ verb (past and past participle learned /ləːnt, ləːnd/ or chiefly British learnt /ləːnt/) [with object]“
(http://oxforddictionaries.com/definition/learn?q=learn)

Regards,

fredbär

As a technical term it means "gewonnene Erkenntnisse" oder "Projekt-Retrospektive", according to the Wikipedia article on "Lessons Learned". (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lessons_Learned).
The general meaning is according to the Online-Dictionary dict.cc "Erfahrungen" or "Erkenntnisse" (http://www.dict.cc/?s=lessons+learned)

Hey Gast,

You can find that in the PONS online dictionary, too:

gesammelte Erfahrungen

http://de.pons.eu/dict/search/results/?q=lesson&l=deen&in=ac_en&lf=de

(Scroll down to or search for "lessons learnt.")

Just FYI: In the U.S., we (generally) say "learned," not "learnt."

Cheers,
Yama
