www.khm.deZentralasien wurde als Austauschraum eines dichten, bisher unterschätzen Netzes von Kontakten begriffen, das die Formation der religiösen Traditionsgeflechte in Ost und West nachhaltig geprägt hat.
Darüber hinaus lenkte die materiale Forschung die Aufmerksamkeit auf die Konzepte diffusion, adoption, absorption, demarcation, re-evaluation und densification, von denen sich vor allem der Begriff der Verdichtung für das Kolleg als besonders fruchtbar herausstellte.

Additionally, the conducted material research turned attention to these concepts: diffusion, adoption, demarcation, re-evaluation, and densification, with the latter being especially useful for the KHK.
