Die Zusammenarbeit soll möglichst im Rahmen der schon bestehenden Kooperationen des Lehrstuhles für Ökumenische Theologie (mit dem St. Ephraems Ecumenical Research Institute an der Mahatma-Gandhi-Universität Kottayam, mit dem Orthodox Seminary Kottayam, mit der Gurukul Theological School and Research Center in Chennai/Madras und dem Dept. of Sociology an der Universität in Pune) erfolgen.
Es stellten sich eine Reihe möglicher Themen ein, die von indischer wie von deutscher Seite von Interesse für eine vertiefte Bearbeitung angesehen wurden.

A number of potential topics came up which were considered, both, on the Indian and the German side, to be interesting for further processing.
