How stressful is hyperflexion of horses ’ necks?

Die Diskussionen zwischen Befürwortern und Gegnern der Hyperflexion wird oft sehr emotional geführt, konnte bislang aber auf wenige wissenschaftlich abgesicherte Daten zurückgreifen.
Mareike Becker-Birck aus der Arbeitsgruppe von Christine Aurich an der Veterinärmedizinischen Universität Wien ( Vetmeduni Vienna ) hat nun den Stress von Pferden verglichen, die entweder mit vorwärts-abwärts gestrecktem Hals oder in Hyperflexion trainiert wurden.
