Er wuchs mit Punk und Metal auf und verbrachte seine Studienzeit in Bristol, wo er die Drum 'n' Bass-Szene kennenlernte – all das beeinflusst seine Werke als Dance-Produzent.

Throwing Snow is Ross Tones, a northern lad living in London.
He grew up on a diet of punk and metal and spent his uni years bathed in Bristol’s drum 'n' bass scene – and all of this informs his output as a dance producer.

In “Throwing Rocks”, the beautiful choreography of two almost inextricably intertwined bodies rolling around the stage suddenly gave way to a video projection.
