The Multimedia, Simulation and Virtual Reality Group is headed by Prof. Dr. Andreas Weber.
We offer introductionary courses on computeranimation and physics-based modeling, covering the basic principles, and advanced courses and seminars in which the current state of the art especially in the areas of motion synthesis of avatars and physics-based simulation are presented.
In all courses we not only teach the theoretical principles but also put emphasis on the practical application by implementing many of the discussed algorithms in the accompaning exercises.

Wir bieten sowohl einführende Veranstaltungen in den Bereichen Computeranimation und physikalisch-basierte Modellierung an, in welchen die grundlegenden Prinzipien behandelt werden, als auch weiterführende Vorlesungen und Seminare in denen der aktuelle Stand der Forschung, vor allem in der Synthese von Avatarbewegungen und der physikalisch-basierten Simulation, präsentiert wird.
Neben der Vermittlung der theoretischen Grundlagen legen wir in allen Vorlesungen auch Wert auf die Anwendung.
