Further investigations will include simulations with a wider variety of compounds ( e.g. pharmaceuticals, other fragrance materials, MTBE ), refinement of the hydrological parameterization and completion of input data with special respect to industrial emissions.
The project was done in close cooperation with the Bavarian Water Management Agency ( LfW ) and was financially supported by Clariant GmbH ( Sulzbach / Taunus ) and the IKW Industrieverband Körperpflege und Waschmittel e.V. ( Frankfurt / Main ).
