About EUROPPASS
On June 25, 2002 EUROPPASS Lkw-Maut GmbH was commissioned with the planning, financing, construction and operation of a fully electronic toll system for vehicles with a maximum permissible weight of over 3.5 tons.
The world’s first nationwide multilane free-flow toll system was put into operation as scheduled on January 1, 2004.

Die EUROPPASS Lkw-Maut GmbH wurde am 25. Juni 2002 mit der Planung, Finanzierung, Errichtung und dem Betrieb eines vollelektronischen Mautsystems für Fahrzeuge über 3,5 Tonnen höchstzulässiges Gesamtgewicht beauftragt.
Das weltweit erste flächendeckende multilane-free-flow Mautsystem ging plangemäß mit 1. Jänner 2004 in Betrieb.
