At the festival concert on 12 July on Marstallplatz the focus will be on works by Richard Strauss whose 150th birthday will be celebrated in 2014.
The Bayerisches Staatsorchester under the musical direction of Philippe Jordan will play orchestral songs by the composer in addition to the two tone poems Till Eulenspiegels lustige Streiche and Ein Heldenleben.
The soprano Diana Damrau will take on the solo part.
