The European Youth Olympic Winter Festival belongs among the biggest sports events hosted in the Czech Republic.
About 1,500 young sportspeople are expected to arrive from 49 European countries to compete in eight classic winter disciplines – alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, ski-jumping, ice-skating, biathlon, ice hockey, Nordic combined and snowboarding.
