Among other things, the immediate help measures included the digging of trenches around the camp, the extension of the drainage system, the provision of drinking water and sanitary facilities in the repopulated, not yet completely developed areas and pumping water with the help of suction cars.

Zu den Soforthilfemaßnahmen gehörte es unter anderem, Gräben um Zelte zu ziehen, das Drainagesystem auszubauen, in den neu besiedelten, noch nicht ganz fertiggestellten Arealen, Trinkwasser und Sanitäranlagen bereitzustellen sowie mit Saugwagen Wasser abzupumpen.
