Marcus Kappler studierte Volkswirtschaftslehre an den Universitäten Tübingen, Maryland ( USA ) und Berlin und promovierte im Jahr 2007 an der Goethe-Universität Frankfurt.

He studied economics at the universities of Tübingen and Maryland, USA, and obtained a diploma from the Free University in Berlin in 2002.In 2007, Marcus Kappler completed his doctoral studies at the University of Frankfurt.
