Die Fotografien auf Papier werden mit ihrer Verflechtung von Architektur, fotografischem Bild und druckgrafischer Technik zu massgeschneiderten Abbildern von Farb- und Lichtstimmungen der fotografierten Architektur und haben als eigenständige Druckgrafik nur noch wenig mit dem industriell standardisierten Verfahren der fotografischen Massenreproduktion in den Printmedien gemeinsam.
So nimmt Dominique Marc Wehrli die Digitalisierung und Entmaterialisierung des fotografischen Prozesses als Chance wahr, Fotografie als materielles Medium in Form von Druckgrafik neu zu entdecken.
