Nach dem ausgezeichneten Vorbild des Schwedischen Landparlaments hat das PREPARE-Netzwerk eine Initiative für den internationalen Austausch zwischen Bewegungen und Veranstaltungen ähnlicher Art ins Leben gerufen, um so das gemeinsame Bedürfnis nach einer stärkeren Zivilgesellschaft zu demonstrieren.
Im Jahr 2011 wurde die BroschüreRural Parliaments – Emerging Participative Democracyveröffentlicht und in ganz Europa verbreitet.
