In 2014, Germany and Zambia can celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic relations.
www.lusaka.diplo.deDie wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnisse, die im Rahmen des Projektes gewonnen werden, dienen dem nachhaltigen Schutz der besonderen Tierwelt Sambias.
Dazu besteht seit 2007 eine Zusammenarbeit mit der Sambischen Naturschutzbehörde, der Zambian Wildlife Authority ( ZAWA ).

Since 2007 there is a Memorandum of Understanding between the Zambian Wildlife Authorities ( ZAWA ) and the ZFMK sealing the cooperation.
www.zfmk.deVom 16.2.-19.2.2015 besuchte der für das südliche Afrika zuständige Landwirtschaftsreferent der Deutschen Botschaft Pretoria, Erik Schneider, Lusaka.
Anlass der Reise war die Vertiefung der Zusammenarbeit zwischen Deutschland und Sambia im Agrarbereich, einschließlich der Vorbereitung der baldigen Eröffnung des "Zambian-German Agricultural Knowledge Centre (AKTC)“.

The main objective of his visit was to strengthen the cooperation between Germany and Zambia in the agricultural sector and to commence preparations for the official opening of the “Zambian-German Agricultural Knowledge Centre (AKTC)” in April 2015.
