2002 erhielt er ein Arbeitsstipendium des Landes Steiermark sowie ein Staatsstipendium in Holland und ist mit seiner Arbeit im Video Art Center in Tokyo vertreten.
Weiters bekam Pinter die Komponistenförderung Österreich zugesprochen und gewinnt den dritten Preis ( directors choice ) für Teufel Eintritt beim Black Maria Film Festival New Jersey USA.
2004 wurde er Vorstandsmitglied von IG-Pop und es kommt zur Gründung von eigenroth-Literatur mit Michael Mastrototaro.
