Zusammen mit dem World Resources Institute ( WRI ) hat der WBCSD zum Beispiel das GHG Protocol zur Messung von Treibhausgasemissionen von Unternehmen entwickelt.
Über sein regionales Netzwerk in circa 60 Ländern ist der WBCSD auch in Entwicklungs- und Schwellenländern präsent und arbeitet daran, in diesen Ländern das Thema nachhaltige Entwicklung voranzutreiben.
