Lange Zeit war der Norweger mit seinem Ford Fiesta RS WRC zeitgleich mit Mads Östberg auf Rang drei gelegen, bis der Adapta-WRT-Pilot zum Ende noch eine Zeit von 2:26.0 Minuten fuhr und sich damit an seinem Landsmann vorbeischob.
