Durch fachliche und organisatorische Unterstützung sollen die Netzwerkstrukturen von SG-SICA im Bereich erneuerbare Energien und Energieeffizienz systematisch ausgebaut und zur Diffusion von Projektergebnissen genutzt werden.
Neben der regionalen Zusammenarbeit mit SICA arbeitet das Vorhaben in den einzelnen Ländern mit den für die Energiepolitik zuständigen Regierungsinstitutionen, Energieversorgern und Industrieverbänden zusammen.
In Schlüsselbereichen werden innovative Projekte im Rahmen von Entwicklungspartnerschaften mit der Wirtschaft ( EPW ) unterstützt.
