mb.mercedes-benz.comTarek Atoui wurde 1980 im Libanon geboren und lebt seit 1998 in Frankreich, wo er zunächst Klangkunst und elektro-akustische Musik studiert.
Im Jahr 2006 veröffentlicht er im Rahmen der Mort Aux Vaches Serie bei Staalplaat Records sein erstes Soloalbum. 2008 fungiert er als künstlerischer Leiter der STEIM Studios in Amsterdam, ein Zentrum zur Erforschung und Entwicklung von neuen elektronischen Musikinstrumenten.
Er präsentiert seine Arbeiten auf der ganzen Welt so auch im New Museum of Contemporary Art, New York (2010);
