Zur Ausführung kam jedoch ein Sondervorschlag, bei dem die Spundwand mit Horizontalankern aus GEWI®-Stahl gesichert wurde.
Um die Tunneldecke des an das Areal grenzenden Warnowtunnels nicht durch Erschütterungen auf Grund der durchzuführenden Rammarbeiten zu gefährden, wurden vor dem Setzen der Spundwände in der gesamten Spundwandachse Bodenaustauchbohrungen vorgenommen.
