Ein Hommage des Eidgenössischen Departements des Innern an Alain Tanner für sein Lebenswerk ist vom Direktor des Bundesamtes für Kultur, David Streiff erwiesen worden.
Alain Tanner erhielt ein Preisgeld von dreissigtausend Franken.
Der zum achten Mal verliehene Schweizer Filmpreis wird vom Bundesamt für Kultur ausgerichtet, in Partnerschaft mit der SRG SSR idée suisse, dem Internationalen Filmfestivals von Locarno, dem Dokumentarfilmfestival «Visions du réel» von Nyon, den Solothurner Filmtagen und Swiss Films.

The Swiss Film Prize, the eighth since its inception, is organised by the Federal Office for Culture, in collaboration with SRG SSR idée Suisse, the Locarno International Film Festival, the Nyon documentary film festival “Visions du reel”, the Solothurn Film Festival and Swiss Films.
