Der EWG-Vertrag
Der EWG-Vertrag begründet eine überstaatliche ( „ supranationale “ ) Gemeinschaft von Staaten zur Errichtung eines Gemeinsamen Marktes.
Der Gemeinsame Markt / Binnenmarkt dient der Erreichung der im EWGV / EGV verankerten Ziele ( insbesondere der vier Grundfreiheiten: freier Waren-, Personen-, Dienstleistungs- und Kapitalverkehr ).

The EEC Treaty creates a supranational community of States with the aim of establishing a common market.
The purpose of the common market / internal market is to achieve the goals enshrined in the EEC / EC Treaty ( in particular the four freedoms: free movement of goods, persons, services and capital ).
www.eu2007.deTrotz ihres Anspruchs auf universale Gültigkeit haben solche Normen als rechtlich-politische Standards nicht nur einen konkreten historischen Ursprung und eine spezifische institutionelle Gestalt.
Ihre Zirkulation und Umsetzung auf ganz verschiedenen Ebenen und durch eine Vielzahl von Akteuren – von überstaatlichen und staatlichen Institutionen über transnationale Nichtregierungsorganisationen bis hin zu lokalen Graswurzelinitiativen – lässt sie als mehrfach institutionell wie kulturell vermittelt erscheinen.
Im Rahmen dieser Vorlesungsreihe diskutieren drei prominente Vertreterinnen verschiedener Fachdisziplinen Spannungsverhältnisse, die sich aus der globalen Zirkulation, Vermittlung und Übersetzung von transnationalen Standards in verschiedenen Kontexten ergeben.

In this series of public lectures three internationally renowned scholars analyze from their own disciplinary perspectives the tensions generated by the global circulation, translation and domestication of transnational standards in various contexts.
