www.safari-in-uganda.comUnsere Schülerinnen und Schüler konnten Videos ansehen, eine Vielzahl von Themen besprechen, ihre eigene Meinung sowohl mündlich als auch auf Flipcharts zum Ausdruck bringen, Quizzes und Word Hunts lösen, die ihnen halfen, ihr Wissen ( z.B. über das UNHCR und die UN Millennium Development Goals ) zu vergrößern und ihren Horizont zu erweitern.
Die ausländischen Studenten lenkten die Aufmerksamkeit der Jugendlichen auch auf wirtschaftliche und umweltbezogene Aspekte, die ihnen wohl kaum in den Sinn kommen würden, wie z.B. die Gewinnung von Coltan in Regionen Afrikas, die die letzten Rückzugsgebiete der Berggorillas sind.
Selbstverständlich erfordern solche Workshops einiges an Logistik in der Organisation, aber wir sind zuversichtlich, dass der Gewinn, den unsere Schülerinnen und Schüler daraus ziehen, diese Mühe wert ist.
webs.schule.atOur students could watch videos, discuss a number of topics with the interns, express their own wishes and hopes orally and also on flip charts, play quizzes and word hunts, which helped them improve their knowledge ( e.g. about the UNHCR and the UN Millennium Development Goals ) and widen their horizon etc.
The foreign students also managed to draw the attention of our youngsters to economic and environmental aspects they may rarely think of, such as the mining of Coltan in regions of Africa, which are the home of the mountain gorillas.
It goes without saying, that the organization of such workshops needs some logistics, but we are also confident, that the output is worth these logistics.
