An diese Zeit erinnert ein altes Denkmal – ein Grabstein in der örtlichen Kirche, auf dem geschrieben steht, dass hier Matthias von Kunovice, der Bruder des Gutsherren, im Jahre 1560 seine zwei Söhne begraben hat.
Fast ein ganzes Jahrhundert waren also die Kunovicer Feudalherren die uneingeschränkten Herren von Vlčnov gewesen.
Im Jahre 1611 wurde das ganze Gut, und somit auch Vlčnov, für 153 000 Gulden an Ulrich von Kunovice verkauft.
