Nach Kenntnisstand des Weißstorch-Informationszent... des NABU Regionalverbandes Calau e.V. ist dies somit der erste Weißstorch des Spreewaldes.
Seit 1999 besteht dieser Nistplatz und ab 2004 war er regelmäßig besetzt.
Hier wurden im letzten Jahr drei Jungstörche flügge.
