Entwickelt in Zusammenarbeit mit myclimate schafft Biocomp Erwerbsmöglichkeiten in Kathmandu und reduziert gleichzeitig effektiv die sonst bei der Verrottung auf offenen Mülldeponien entstehenden Treibhausgasemissionen.
Im Jahr 2012 wurde das Projekt als Leuchtturm-Aktivität mit dem UNFCCC Momentum for Change Award ausgezeichnet.
