www.rcm.atDurch das Öffnen der Wehrfelder kann der Wasserspiegel oberhalb des Kraftwerks abgesenkt werden, um im Stauraum eine Verstärkung der Überflutungen gegenüber dem Zustand vor Kraftwerkserrichtung zu vermeiden.
Kurzfristig fließt dann etwas mehr Wasser aus dem Stauraum ab, als zufließt.

Das Wasser wird nicht von der Pumpe „ angesaugt “, sondern fließt dem Schacht drucklos zu.
Am Boden des Schachtes sitzt eine Tauchpumpe, die das Wasser durch Druckleitungen wieder in den Teich befördert.
