- La Constitución de los EEUU, escrita después de que el país se independizara de Gran Bretaña, fue ratificada en 1789 por representantes de cada una de las trece ex colonias (thirteen Colonies) que conformaban los Estados Unidos, incluidos algunos de los padres de la nación (→ Founding Fathers - The Founding Fathers).
